·       If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make your group aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use. 

·       Alcohol and nudity are not permitted in the sauna. HotBox operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.​

·       Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the sauna.

·       Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

·       All persons using the sea as a 'cold plunge' do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the sea.

·       Exposure to hot equipment, slippery surfaces and hot/cold temperatures is done so at your own risk

·       All belongings left in the sauna are at your own risk.

·       Please be aware that the sauna is accessed via steps

·       HotBox operators reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

  •    Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

o   Washing feet in the bucket provided before entering the sauna

o   Sitting on a towel at all times

  • o   Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)

    o   Gently pouring water onto the sauna stove; drizzle, don't dump water

    o   Only pouring the provided 'sauna water' on the hot stones

    o   Not touching any part of the stove

    o   Entering and exiting in a safe manner

    o   Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

    o   Getting changed within your booked time slot if you would like to use the changing room.

  • You must not use the sauna if you:

    o   suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes;

    o   are pregnant; or

    o   are prone to dizziness or fainting.

Refund Policy

For sauna sessions and events

  • In the unlikely event that we cancel a booking, you will be notified by email/mobile and refunded.

  • We do not refund “no shows”. You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours in advance which can be done by letting us know via the contact page on our website citing your booking order number.

  • HotBox operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
